The story behind the lens

Art has always been the common thread woven through every chapter of my life. From childhood days spent drawing and creating handmade crafts, I discovered early that expressing myself through creativity brought me the greatest joy. Although I trained as a dentist and practiced for over a decade, I soon realized that dentistry is, in many ways, as much an art as it is a science — requiring precision and a keen eye for detail. Along the way, I also found a deep love for crochet, and you’ll rarely find me far from a hook and a ball of yarn (crochet_tales.shabari).

Twelve years ago, the birth of my son brought another beautiful turning point. A camera gifted to me at that time became more than just a device — it became a way to preserve love and life’s fleeting moments. Capturing his every milestone sparked a passion that naturally evolved into a profession. After formally studying photography and training in maternity and newborn photography, I founded House of Photography, where I have the privilege of creating timeless portraits for expecting mothers, newborns, toddlers and families.

For me, photography is more than taking pictures — it’s about creating meaningful pieces of art that celebrate life’s most precious moments. Every session is an opportunity to tell a story, preserve an emotion and create memories that families will treasure for generations.
